Celebrating a Safe St. Patrick’s Day, Baxter-Boo Style

Flooded with green beer and Irish drinking songs, you can bet every pub in the city is going to be packed on March 17. However, despite the common misconception that St. Patrick’s Day is limited to beer drinkers and leprechauns, the holiday can be celebrated by everyone.

So, how can you celebrate a safe and sober St. Pat’s Day with your furry companion?

Dress Up

Retail stores boom every March with clothing dyed green. However, you might be surprised to find out that the original color associated with St. Patty’s Day used to be blue. When the popularity of the holiday spread, the color changed to green.

With the abundance of huge clothing retailers, it’s a fairly easy task to pick up a few green articles of clothing. Finding gear for your pup may be a little more difficult, but to make it less challenging, here are our top picks:

Tattoo Shirt for Dogs – Clover

Game Day Dog Jersey – Shamrock Green

Metallic Foil Shamrock Dog Tank

Bark for Beer Dog Collar

The love for the holiday has taken society by storm and, let’s face it, who doesn’t love an excuse for a day of playing dress up or listening to the sound of beer glasses clinking together? No matter how you choose to celebrate St. Patty’s, there is no better way then spending it with your favorite furry companion!

  1. I am so elated that Baxter-Boo has started this blog for all of us to be able to interact with each other. We already have two things in common, we each have a pet or pets that we adore, we have a wonderful crew who are always focused on coming up with new exciting ideas and products for our little imps. Mr. Darcy is my cuddle of love, we all just call him Darcy. I thank you so much for sharing this blog with us. Happy St. Patty’s Day to everyone.
