Another Great Rescue and an Opportunity to Help Rescue More!

As you may remember, I’ve posted some amazing videos about Hope for Paws and my friend Eldad Hagar who I had the privilege of meeting at BlogPaws 2012. Eldad is such a prolific dog-whispering rescuer that it’s difficult to choose which videos to pass on!

But this latest video is an absolute winner with Melody and Macy being rescued from a construction site. This was a crucial rescue, just in time, as one of the dogs gave birth to six puppies shortly after they were captured. Find out more about them below!

I find myself, once again, watching too many of these videos late at night! Darn you, Eldad! But now we have the opportunity not just to be a spectator. We can help support one of Hope for Paws’ partners, The Bill Foundation who also helps these abandoned animals find forever homes. By voting on Facebook, this charity has the opportunity to win $250,000 from Chase Community Giving. Those who bank with Chase get extra votes, as do people who share the cause with their friends.

Believe me, your vote to help them win $250,000 would be a game changer for this non-profit rescue!

Also consider a small gift to Hope for Paws. Their work is so important, that even a single mom like me has gotten on board to help, especially seeing him rescue another single mom! And I only have four pups, not six! Eldad assures me that he’d rather have many folks who can help a little than a single large donor, and I think he has the right idea.

As promised, you can see how Melody’s puppies are doing on this webcam!

  2. Absolutely! Pets are probably the best judges of good character as well as good people! I have a therapy dog who comes to school and she has NEVER been wrong about that! Typically, if she does not like someone..we find out or already know it’s for a good reason…

What do you think?
