Learn why these cats are one of America’s favorites!
Seattle’s Children’s Hospital went the extra mile for 16-year-old Maga Barzallo Sockemtickem, who spent 11 months in the hospital while waiting for a compatible bone marrow donor. I was recently getting my van’s oil changed where I was conversing with a nice lady who had two Shih Tzus. She apologized that one of them was still learning her manners as she was just a puppy. And then she teared up saying that she’d lost her last Shih Tzu due to a rattlesnake bite at one of the local parks.
Yesterday, I heard that the neighbor’s cat had been playing with a tiny snake in her garage. The way the snake was coiling and striking, she didn’t think it was the regular garden variety. If it were a king snake, she wanted to let it live, because they are good at controlling rodents and other pests. Continue reading

What breeds are best suited for apartment living? Well that may be the wrong question to ask. When looking for a dog that would be happy living in an apartment, you need to look for energy levels. Even within the same litter of pups, there are ones that are more energetic then the others.
Exercise is crucial for any dog. You have to think of your home like a dog cage, just because you let your dog outside, doesn’t mean he has gotten the exercise he needs. Of course when you only have an apartment, your dog has an even smaller cage to live in.

And, hello, cats rule the Internet! Don’t feel guilty about it… we know how many hours you’ve spent watching our hypnotizing antics on YouTube.
To counteract the blatant dog/cat discrepancy on the BaxterBoo.com site, I, Lady Boo am going to be taking the helm of buying and featuring new, magnificent products for discriminating cat enthusiasts. Continue reading
